Civic reception for locals aged 90+

Planning for the civic reception to acknowledge Murrindindi Shire residents over 90 years of age is well underway, says Deputy Mayor Cr Sandice McAulay.
“The reception will be held (Thursday) February 22 in the Alexandra Shire Hall and will be an opportunity for Council and community to acknowledge the contribution that has been made by our older residents. Invitees will enjoy a high tea and entertainment,” Cr McAulay said.
“The 90-up project is documenting the lives and memories of a number of people in our communities over the age of 90 years will be launched and a short film shown.”
