A pair of bushwalkers are making their way back to an established track in the Cathedral Ranges, south of Alexandra, this afternoon (Monday).

Police and emergency services are assisting the pair to navigate back to the track, with the use of a mobile phone.

It is understood that the pair have suitable clothing, and there are no fears for their safety or well-being.
