Alexandra Secondary College held its annual Penny Concert on Friday (Sept. 22).
It is one of the great traditions of the College. It provides a showcase for talents of students, raise money for a worthy cause and to celebrate the achievements of Term 3.
The Penny Concert, in the College Hall, was organised by the Student Representative Council.
The crowd showed their enjoyment of each performance by putting money (originally pennies but now silver coins) in collection buckets. SRC members passed the buckets at the end of each act to collect the ‘pennies’.
