MURRINDINDI: NBN fibre to premises at Marysville

Work has begun on changes to the NBN network in Marysville. The NBN Local team will be engaging with the local community throughout the process to keep them informed.

In the coming weeks, Marysville people may see activity around the community as part of these works. Murrindindi Council asnd NBN say they are aware of some NBN scams occurring and would like to ensure the community stays safe and vigilant over the holiday period.

All official NBN material will always feature the NBN logo. All NBN approved technicians and workers will have enAble digital identification cards, which will feature a QR code that can be scanned to confirm its validity. “We encourage you to always request to see this card before providing physical access to your premises,” said a representative.

Additional helpful information for protecting yourself from scams can be found on the NBN website.

As previously announced, the changes will mean up to 430 eligible premises in Marysville can connect to NBN’s Fibre to the Premises network, which will provide households and businesses access to faster wholesale speeds via a retail service provider that offers an NBN powered plan.

This project is supported with funding from the State Governments Connecting Vic Program.
