Yea Fire Brigade was called to attend a building fire at High St, Yea early on Friday morning, reports UGFM.

“The fire was brought under control by fire fighters and cordoned off by Police. CFA Fire investigators and Yea Police later attended the scene this morning and once Murrindindi Shire have inspected the site for structural integrity it is hoped the footpath can be reopened,” said a representative of the community radio station.

“This is the second shop fire in Yea in recent weeks,” said the UGFM representative.
