Unusual ANZAC Day in Yea

It was an unusual ANZAC Day observance in Yea on Saturday (Apr. 25).

Instead of a crowd of some hundreds, there were five people at the Cenotaph:

• Jeffrey Swain, President of the Yea-Kinglake RSL Sub-Branch,
• Frank Philip, Vice-President,
• Mother Eden-Elizabeth Nicholls, of St Luke’s Anglican Parish, Yea and Molesworth,
• Michelle Mussett, piper, and
• Elaine White, returned servicewoman.

Tributes left at the Yea Cenotaph.
