The Maroondah Highway is closed between Healesville and Narbethong, through the ‘Black Spur’ due to emergency works. 

Motorists should avoid the area and use the Melba and Goulburn Valley highways through Yea and Alexandra.

This is a significant detour that could add more than an hour to the journey. Drivers should plan ahead to allow extra time.

Emergency services are on site. The road will re-open when it is deemed safe to do so.
