Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fatal fire which occurred in Kinglake West on Friday night (Apr. 26)

Investigators have been told a shed caught fire on Watsons Rd about 8.25pm.

A 26-year-old Kinglake West man sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
