Black Spur remains closed

The Maroondah Hwy at Fernshaw, between Narbethong and Healesville, is expected to remain closed until later this morning (Tues., Jan. 1). At least one Mountain Ash tree remains over the road.
North-bound motorists have had to back-track to Healesville, then make their way to Alexandra, Eildon, and north-east destinations via the Melba Hwy and Yea.
VicRoads equipment was requested late on New Years Eve, but had to make its way from Yea.
