FREE ads for locals during COVID crisis

Local businesses can obtain TOTALLY FREE advertising in The Local Paper during the COVID-19 crisis. There is a simple form to complete at the bottom of this page.

The Local Paper will provide a free $40 ad every week for each local business that completes the easy online form athttps://www.dindi.com.au/wp/covid-free-ads/

There is no means test. There are no questions asked. It is The Local Paper’s way of lending a helping hand to every local business, and to play our part in getting through the COVID turmoil. Content of the ad is subject to the approval of the Editor of The Local Paper.

Each free ad is a black-and-white classified line ad of up to 40 words in which local businesses can list their name, address, phone, web and email, along with a brief description of their goods and services.

Normal charges still apply for those clients requiring larger display ads.

This offer is open for each weekly edition of The Local Paper from August 26-December 9, 2020 (subject to COVID-19 conditions allowing us to continue weekly print and online publication). If pandemic conditions are still serious at year’s end, we will look at extending this free program into 2021.

This means that local businesses, big or small, can have a free package of up to 17 weekly ads, each worth up to $40. This free package is worth up to $680 for each local business. The free packages are available to all local businesses whether they be trades people, shops, firms of one-person or many people, in fact anything. Deadline for each edition is 5pm Friday.

The free ads will appear in The Local Paper regional edition which is published in Murrindindi, Mitchell and Yarra Ranges shires, and is also available in some parts of the Mansfield, Whittlesea and Nillumbik municipalities.

After the Black Saturday fires in 2009, our company played its part in giving away $1.3 million worth of ads to hundreds of local businesses. In 2020, The Local Paper is again meeting its responsibilities as a true local community newspaper.

Please complete the form. Free ads are not accepted by phone.
