Council meetings are now able to be livestreamed completely, following changes to the Local Government Act to adapt to the COVID-19 situation.

The Yarra Ranges Council meeting on Tuesday last week (May 5) was the first to be held completely online, with Councillors, Council Officers, Directors and the CEO dialling in to a video conference.

This temporarily removes the requirement for Councillors to be physically present for their meetings.

These meetings will be livestreamed on the Council website from 7pm on their respective dates.
