Unplanned electricity outages started the day on New Year’s Eve for 1701 customers in Murrindindi Shire, says Ausnet.
Areas affected include Alexandra, Cathkin, Ghin Ghin, Gobur, Kanumbra, Kilingworth, Koriella, Merton, Molesworth, Whanregarwen, Yarck and Yea.
Alexandra area power customers appear to have had electricity restored at 5.15am. Ausner predicts restoration times of 8am and 10am in other areas.
